Chairman Moore’s girlfriend!
When Monique heard Chairman Longchamp’s question, she bit her lips and turned around to look at Henry, looking forward to his response.
Henry curled his lips slightly and answered, “Thank you.”
He neither confirmed nor denied his question.
Henry then turned aside to look at Monique with his brooding eyes. “Mony, what drink do you prefer?”
His tone was calm and bland.
Chairman Longchamp was an experienced businessman and knew not to press Chairman Moore further on the question that he refused to answer. He raised his hand to signal a waiter who was serving wine and all kinds of cocktails over.
Mony?
Was he referring to her? He clearly dodged the question on purpose.
A hint of sadness flickered in her eyes. She put on a smile and answered, “I want some orange juice.”
It could be that she wanted to indulge in the momentary bliss she was feeling at that moment. It was a good thing that he did not answer.
Was it not?
Orange juice was not an option on the cocktail tray. Chairman Longchamp ordered the waiter. “Hurry up and prepare a glass of orange juice.”
The waiter scurried away in a rush.
Chairman Longchamp then laughed and said, “Young Master Moore, the opening ceremony for our property in West City is just around the corner. It would be an honor if you can attend.”
