Wrong Ride, Right Lover novel Chapter 358

Even though Monique stood there shoeless, she had learned Henry’s intimidating tone after living with him for some time. Even though her presence was not as strong as his, she managed to catch Paul Longchamp completely off guard.

Paul’s expression altered slightly. The people here were all pristine guests. Looking at her glamorous outfit, she might be the girlfriend of someone important.

His father would definitely kill him if he offended any important guests.

However, his rationality was clouded by evil thoughts when he looked at the beautiful woman in front of his eyes. He arrogantly said, “I don’t care who you belong to. I will have you tonight.”

Monique was stunned. She was about to tell him that she was Henry Moore’s girlfriend.

Even though she wanted to say that, there was a little hesitation.

When Chairman Longchamp asked Henry about this, he brushed off the question and did not give a direct answer. It was obvious that he was not willing to acknowledge her as his girlfriend.

He did not deny it either. Moreover, she was not trying to use this status to gloat—she was facing a life-threatening situation.

Henry would not be mad at her if she had no choice, would he?

Monique blurted out, “I am—”

Before she could finish her sentence, a clear and calm voice sounded, “Paul Longchamp, how dare you touch my girlfriend.”

Monique was dumbfounded. This was clearly not Henry’s voice but why did he claim that she was his girlfriend!

Monique searched for the voice and saw an attractive, kind-looking man.

He was wearing a navy-blue suit, had charming features, and an elegant manner. His voice was rather aloof, which seemed a little out of place with his warm appearance.

Paul also turned his head to follow the voice. His face dropped when he saw who it was. Immediately, he put on a big smile and said, “Mr. Johnny, I didn’t know she’s your girlfriend. Please excuse me.”
