Wrong Ride, Right Lover novel Chapter 410

The knocking continued going on for some time.

Henry managed to compose himself. He covered the fainted Monique with a blanket without finishing what he was doing and headed to the bathroom.

He quickly cleaned himself up and came out after neatly dressing up. He did not turn around to look at Monique at all. He had never been so mad before. After all, Monique was just Angel's mother and all he intended was to tease her.

A feeling that Henry had never experienced swirled within him which he kept denying. It was the feeling of falling in love.

'How could this be? How is it impossible for me to fall in love with a playgirl!'

Mandy heard noises from inside and continued knocking. She had been knocking for quite some time and was starting to feel anxious, worrying that Mr. Moore would lose control and do something horrible that could not be reversed.

Mandy could sense that Mr. Moore loved Miss Xander; he treated her differently than he did other ladies. All these years, Henry had never taken a second glance at another woman.

Additionally, back when they both first met, Mr. Moore had an obsession toward cleanliness and yet allowed Miss Xander to enter his office to change into one of his shirts, which had never occurred before.

'Chairman Moore is obsessed with cleanliness. How could he allow someone so dirty to enter his office?'

Perhaps at that time, Mr. Moore had already developed some affection for Monique.

As Mandy was thinking about it, she knocked on the door harder.

The door was finally opened and out came Mr. Moore with a pale look, veins throbbing on his temples as his towering silhouette emanated a terrifying chill. His eyes were so cold that it would petrify anyone who looked into his eyes.

The atmosphere suddenly became chilly as a cold wind rushed out from within Henry’s office.
