Wrong Ride, Right Lover novel Chapter 411

Mandy retrieved some toiletries and a basin of lukewarm water, then placed it on the bed. Monique's hair was wet, her face was bloodless, and there was a huge bruise on her fair skin.

Mandy shook her head, feeling sorry for the skinny lady. 'This is just too cruel.'

Mandy briefly cleaned Monique and went to the wardrobe to get her a new change of clothes.

She dried Monique's hair with a towel and a hairdryer.

After she was done dressing and drying Monique, Mandy went back to the bathroom and picked up the pieces of the torn shirt before leaving the office.

Henry was infuriated as he read the information Mandy collected. 'It turns out that Monique has been lying to me since the beginning, claiming that the kindergarten was suitable for Angel and even sang the kindergarten’s praises. In fact, her man owned that school.'

Henry felt as though everything had come to light. Henry suspected that Monique's change of behavior ever since he returned from outstation could be an order from Simon. 'Perhaps he’s trying to get something out of me?'

"Mr. Moore, if there's nothing else, I'll be leaving now." Mandy answered coldly yet professionally, sounding slightly unsatisfied.

Mandy used to think that Mr. Moore was a very wise man who rewarded those who contributed and punished those who made mistakes. However, she had never in her life seen anyone torture a woman so violently to this state.

"I'll give you two days to buy over Starry Kindergarten and chase this man out of it." Henry's deep voice sent shivers down her spine as he stared with those cold, heartless eyes of his.

"Yes, sir," Mandy replied and left the office.

Henry sank into his office chair, massaging his temples. 'No one has ever made me lose control like today.'

Henry thought back on Monique's hurtful speech.

"You're the one who forced me to stay back; you really think I want to stay with you? I seduced you so that you would set me free once you’re done with me. What were you thinking? Do you really think I’d fall for you? Hahahaha, what a joke, you even gave me flowers? How does it feel to be insulted?
