Mandy brought Angel home. Henry turned around and left. He pressed the lift and went up to the eighth floor and Louise followed him.
“Why didn’t you let Angel know that Monique is here.” Louise riled up her courage and stared at Henry. Even though he was her idol, she wished to clarify this. Her heart softened seeing Angel cry pitifully and she nearly told her.
She did not understand the man in front of her, yet she oddly trusted him.
Louise was disgusted by her infatuation with him.
‘You forced me to stay. Do you think I’m willing to stay here? I purposely crawled onto your bed. If I don’t make you bored of me, will you let me go? What do you think? Do you think I’ll fall in love with you? Hahaha! How funny! Sending me flowers? Do you feel terrible being insulted?’
‘You’re right, I seduced him. He treats me better than you do. A hundred or even thousand times better!’
These words were circulating in Henry’s mind over and over again.
Henry nearly ran out of breath. He had a feeling in that instant that since she liked Simon, he should just let both of them go. She would rather die than being with him so he should just let her regret it.
He could have all kinds of women he wanted. Why must he want her?!
She did not have a good figure and her looks were just average. There were so many beautiful girls out there.
However, he felt unresigned. How could he surrender?
He saw Angel looking so sad and cried so terribly even when she did not see her mother for only a day. If Monique was not by her side in the future, she must be very sad.
Would she accept a new mother if he found one for her?
It was only right to keep Monique. However, she had been trying so hard to leave. He was choking her neck the other day and she would rather die than beg him.
