Wrong Ride, Right Lover novel Chapter 482

"Hen, stop drinking, let's go back," Stella said as she realized that Henry was in a foul mood. She could not bear to see Henry in that state.

‘Hen, from now onwards, I'll share the burden of the problems you're keeping in your heart, alright?'

Innumerable empty bottles of liquor were arranged on the table as Henry was drunk.

Logan was nowhere to be seen and Henry did not pick up Louise’s call as well.

Henry was so drunk that he could not remain seated upright. Stella’s small body frame could not support Henry's weight. Only with the help of the manager of the pub did they manage to shift Henry into the car.

"Miss Graham, you sure you don't need me to get you a cab to send you guys back?" The manager of the pub asked politely.

"It's fine," Stella said as she let out a gentle smile. This was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for her to be alone with Henry. Naturally, she would not wish for anyone to interfere.

Stella drove the car and suddenly saw a pharmacy that was still operating when she took a turning to a corner.

She beamed at Henry’s handsome face with her eyebrows frowned. He did not seem to be in good shape. She thought about it and decided to enter the pharmacy to purchase some sobering medication as she did not have an idea whether there was such medication in Henry's house.

She started looking for a parking spot but the parking spots near the pharmacy were all occupied. Thus, she did not have a choice but to park at a much further place.

She got down from the car and sprinted to the pharmacy. She then purchased the medication and headed back to the car.

There were a few people ahead who were drunk and waddling to her direction. They were all talking about some perverted topics that would be unpleasant to hear.

It was already midnight and there were very few people on the streets. The yellow light of the street lamps that were shining on Stella made her appear to be much more lovely.

Stella got terrified as she slowed down her pace. She could feel the gaze of the few men directed at her. She comforted herself, 'It’s alright, there are lots of pubs nearby. It's only natural to bump into people who were drunk.'

'Besides, Hen is just inside the car ahead, they wouldn't dare do anything to me.'
