Louise wiped off her tears and sneered, "Don't keep thanking me, you're going to make me cry."
Monique placed her hands on her lips and let out a faint smile as she saw Louise on the brink of bursting into tears. At the same time she forced out a smile on her face and said, "Alright, I won't say it anymore."
Louise reached out for a piece of tissue on the dining table and wiped the tears off Monique's face. She said, "From now on, just let me know whenever you have any problems. We'll go through it together."
Monique nodded.
Louise put on a stern expression as she looked at Monique
"Do you have something else to ask me?" Monique asked.
Louise felt troubled. She thought it was not the right time. 'If Mr. Leeds is someone who Monique really loved, then it’ll still be up to her to solve this incident.'
It was already late that day and Louise was wondering what the chairman did to Simon.
"Is it true about what happened between you and Mr Leeds?" Louise asked.
Mr. Leeds?
Monique was shocked but immediately came back to her senses. She asked, "Are you talking about Simon? How did you know him!"
Louise took out her handphone and clicked into her mailbox. She showed the content to Monique and said, "I don't know where Amelia got these photos of you and Simon. She sent it to the company's email."
"To the company's email?!" Monique said as her hand trembled.
It was not the first time Henry tried to choke her to death. Back when they were at the pool, Henry nearly choked her to death just because he saw Nick saving Monique at the roadside.
