Stella glanced at Logan with disdain as she said arrogantly, "You can't figure out what's going on? Henry already mentioned that Angel relies a lot on her mother, and that woman must have used it to her advantage to threaten Henry."
Stella then started flipping through the information. As she read, she became more convinced at her hypothesis.
Logan started reading through the documents as well. When he flipped through, he saw that there was a small photo attached to it and he somehow felt the lady in the photo looked rather familiar. 'This woman, where have I met her before?'
Logan and Stella left the reception room while Henry sunk in his leather sofa for quite some time.
Every day, Henry would sit on the comfortable leather sofa. However, that day, Henry did not felt the same ever since he imagined that Monique might commit suicide if he were to force Angel away from her.
Monique's love for Angel was indescribable. She would sacrifice her life just for Angel.
Henry remembered when Monique's fever just went down and they were both having a huge argument. Before that, Louise reported Monique's situation to him from time to time, but ever since Henry left Star River Residence, Louise did not continue reporting Monique's condition to him.
Henry wondered what happened to Monique. Did she still have a fever?
Henry picked up the key on his desk and drove to Star River Residence.
He stood at the doorway on the 8th floor, hesitating for a moment. That day before he left, he spouted some nasty words, longing for Monique to come back to him begging. However, things did not go his way, and Henry took the initiative to look for her instead.
While Henry was standing at the doorway, trying to think of some excuse, he heard a faint conversation coming from the inside.
The first voice he heard was from Louise's. "I'm a bit curious and would like to ask something; please don't be mad, OK?"
