“Hum,” Henry nodded and took Angel with one hand, then he used another hand to tug the hair on Angel’s face to the back of her ear. A hint of love was hanging by the corner of his lips. He said softly, “Angel. Let’s go. Let me bring you upstairs.”
Louise was dumbfounded as she saw this. The chairman had always kept a cold and stiffened face, yet she had seen the chairman’s eyes full of love as he faced Angel.
Could Angel really be the chairman’s daughter?
“Louise,” Monique walked over happily and called her. She felt happy each time she saw Louise.
“Are you together with the chairman?” Louise just recovered. She asked dubiously in her low voice, “The whole company had been spreading rumors that you are the chairman’s woman.”
“It is not what you saw. I have nothing to do with the chairman,” Monique sighed and awkwardly explained.
She had also seen it these two days. The company was full of uncomfortably contemptuous looks.
Louise apparently looked in disbelief. The chairman treated Angel so well.
Monique sighed and told Louise everything helplessly.
In the end, she had even concluded that the chairman was wicked, domineering, and shameless!
“So that is the case. I knew you would surely not be kept by the chairman”, Louise said with a sigh of relief.
“Do you really believe me?” Monique exclaimed in surprise. It had been feeling like a dream to her since the beginning, let alone if others could believe her.
