“Daddy, can I ask you something?” Henry wanted Angel to play on the couch yet she had been standing there and refused to leave.
She raised her head. Her skin was fair and bright, with her pink and coquettish lips, and her big black eyes were twinkling. She stared straight at Henry with her long and thick eyelashes, looking sweet and lovely like a doll yet pretending to be serious.
She looked too cute.
A light flashed through Henry’s eyes, his raised lips were full of dotes, “Hmm, anything?” His magnetic voice sounded.
“Daddy, why did you not come and look for me and mommy,” Angel blinked her big black eyes, pouted her mouth, and said depressingly.
She sincerely took Henry as her father. However, she did not understand why her father abandoned them for so many years.
Mommy was not as excited as she imagined when they found daddy conversely, she was looking depressed. Did she not like daddy?
Mommy was not around today so she really wished to ask about this.
Henry was stunned by Angel’s words. She was so young. She nestled in his arms. Her twinkling big eyes were very distressing. She had already left the moment he woke up that day. He had never met Monique since then.
He had tried searching for her, yet the hotel’s monitoring device was known to be damaged and nothing was recorded so he could not find any clue.
He did not even know the existence of Angel, otherwise he would have gone further to find them.
“Daddy has been looking for you, however, I did not manage to find you in time due to many reasons,” Henry carried Angel onto his lap and looked at her dotingly and said apologetically. His voice sounded so clear and heavenly.
He had ordered his subordinate to locate Monique all this while.
