After he ended the call, Sacha’s phone rang shortly after. His face dropped the minute he saw the number on his phone. It was the chairman of Mansion Coffee: Chairman George.
When he answered the phone, they could hear him being bombarded by the person on the other end. He ordered him to give Henry the surveillance footage.
Sacha immediately obeyed and answered respectfully, “Yes, sir.”
Blood drained from Cindy’s face when she heard Sacha’s reply. Her hands could not stop shaking, her legs barely able to support her weight.
After hanging up, Sacha glared at Cindy before he retrieved the footage in a hurry.
The video clearly showed that Cindy added almost 10 spoonfuls of salt, even giving it a stir in the end.
Those people who despised Monique just a moment ago cringed when they saw the footage.
They looked at Cindy and said, “How can you do this to us? You betrayed our trust. You think you may know someone by looking at their face, but you never know what’s truly inside their mind.”
“How evil can you be to accuse someone of your own wrongdoings?”
The customers around them started chastising Cindy.
Cindy was fuming as she stared at them; a wave of hatred overwhelmed her.
“It’s all because of you!” She used all of her strength to charge at Monique, planning to rip her apart.
Monique was stunned and rooted in place.
Just when Cindy was almost about to claw Monique’s face, a huge pair of hands grabbed her and threw her aside.
His movements were swift and elegant.
