You More Than Anything In The World novel Chapter 1211

The security guards looked at Regan as though the latter was a clueless man.

Isn't he aware that our boss is Mr. Graham?

When Regan saw the guards' condescending gazes, his face darkened. What snobs!

“Benjamin is my son-in-law, and my daughter is inside. I'm here to visit her. So, you'd better inform them.”

Unfazed, the guard uttered, “I don't care who you are. You've been blacklisted by our hospital, so you can't go in!”

Meanwhile, Shaun was observing what was happening at the entrance. After a closer look, he called Benjamin.

“Benjamin, Regan is making a scene at the hospital entrance. Should we chase him away?”

Benjamin narrowed his eyes. With an aloof tone, he replied, “Chase him away!”

Hasn't Regan learned his lesson? How dare he come and make a scene?

After receiving the instructions, Shaun beckoned a bodyguard over to chase Regan away while Shaun remained in the background.

The bodyguard went over and passed the instructions to the security guards. Two of them immediately hauled Regan to the side of the road, left him there, and returned to their positions to guard the hospital entrance.

Regan's expression turned grim, but there was nothing he could do.

Can I still save my company if I can't meet with Benjamin?

Regan was very anxious. It was unfortunate that he did not have Arissa's new phone number at that time.

He did not leave but remained near the hospital. Abruptly, he saw a trash truck going into the place. His eyes lit up.

Meanwhile, in the ward upstairs, Arissa could feel that Benjamin's aura had gone cold. She was curious about what happened.

“Who called you? What's the matter?”

“It's nothing.” Benjamin was certain that Regan would be unable to make it into the hospital, so he did not mention it to Arissa to prevent it from affecting her mood.

Seeing that he was not answering her, she did not continue to ask more questions.

In any event, Benjamin never expected Regan to pretend to be a rubbish collector and sneak into the hospital. The latter was fully disguised and unrecognizable.

Even so, it was difficult for Regan to enter the ward as the bodyguards still stopped him at the door.

“I'm here to clear the rubbish!” Regan lowered his head and hoped that the bodyguards would let him through.

“Hold on.” The bodyguard glanced at him, but the former was unaware that the so-called rubbish collector was actually Regan in disguise. Thus, Regan was allowed into the room to pick up the rubbish bin.

While inside the ward, Regan swept his gaze around the room and saw that Arissa was awake. He rushed to her enthusiastically.

“Issa!”

Hearing someone calling her name, Arissa looked confusedly toward the man at the door. She did not recognize the masked person dressed in a staff uniform.

However, when Benjamin heard the voice, he narrowed his eyes and glared at Regan, who was walking toward them.

“Get out!”

Regan is really something. He sure has a lot of schemes and ideas!

When Regan locked eyes with Benjamin, the former trembled.

But when Regan reminded himself that only Arissa could save his business, he had no choice but to barge into the room. He walked to her bedside and took off his mask.

“Issa, it's me!”

When Arissa discovered who the man was, her gaze turned cold and distant.

“What are you doing here?” Her voice was devoid of friendliness as it was filled with resentment.

With his thick skin, Regan replied concernedly, “I found out you've been hospitalized, and I got worried. So, I came by to visit you.”

“There's no need for that.” Arissa remained indifferent.

“Mr. York, seeing that you keep finding ways to disturb my wife, it seems like you have a lot of time on your hands!” The domineering tone in Benjamin's voice caused Regan to shudder.

“I-I'm here to visit Issa. You can't be too selfish, Mr. Graham. After all, I'm her father. Is it wrong for me to see how my daughter is doing?”

Regan had clearly forgotten the fact that he had cruelly cut ties with his daughter and was now pretending to be a loving father.

A sardonic smile appeared on Arissa's face. His shamelessness baffles me.

“Who is your daughter, Regan? Why am I not aware that your daughter is in this ward?”

Regan's expression morphed into awkwardness. “Issa, I've made a mistake. Please don't be mad at me. How's your health? Is it serious? What seems to be the problem?”
