Maximilian knew clearly that it was one of the common tricks Dragon Sect used. But he didn’t expect they would be so despicable.
He must stop it anyway.
“Don’t worry. It must be Dragon Sect. I can handle them.” He said calmly.
She looked at him with doubted eyes. She thought he was kidding her. She knew how influential Dragon Sect was after all.
If it were somebody else, facing such a formidable enemy, he would be scared to death.
She couldn’t understand why he was so confident.
“Stopping joking. I know you’re no match of them.” She laughed.
She thought he was just comforting her, but she still felt warm.
Maximilian couldn’t stop her, so he decided to go with her.
It would be dangerous for her to go back alone in such special time.
Unexpectedly, she left alone by a taxi before he knew it.
He thought it was too reckless of her to jump into an obvious trap.
Wait! He suddenly realized something was wrong. Why was there a taxi in front of his villa? It was so unusual.
It’s getting more and more serious and tricky. He must stop something bad from happening. Otherwise, everything would change.
He drove his car to catch the taxi immediately.
The taxi driver didn’t notice that he was followed. There’s a threatening scar on his face.
Half an hour later, she came to suspect the driver, who didn’t take her to the company. It would not take so long to get to her company.
“Are you taking the wrong road? It’s not the way to my company.” She couldn’t help asking.
“Of course not, it’s the way to a deserted factory.” The driver answered with a frightful smile.
She’s got a bad feeling that the driver was for her. She frowned, “Who are you? Stop right now, or I’ll call the police.”
“Whatever, there’s no signal in the taxi.” He sneered.
Astonished, she dialed the phone immediately but it couldn’t get through.
When they arrived at a deserted factory, she became panic. She regretted not taking Maximilian’s advice.
