Esther couldn't help but laugh. "You're something else, Pearl. Looks like she'll have to shop at the wholesale market now."

Pearl shrugged and picked up her cup of coffee. "Not my problem. She's free to shop wherever she pleases."

"Talk about freedom," Esther laughed again. But it didn't sound like real freedom. "And how did you manage to get all those brands to make that announcement?"

Pearl seemed to have a lot of influence. Normally, it would take ages to get a response from those companies.

"It was easy. They just know who they shouldn't mess with."

Esther put her hands to her chest. "You're amazing, Pearl. If I were a guy, I'd definitely try to win you over."

Pearl was speechless, thinking, 'Silly girl.'
