Your Guise Is Slipping, Miss Pearl (Pearl and Richard) novel Chapter 1203

For the first time, Ezra felt completely helpless. "You'd done nothing wrong. Why are you asking me to punish you?"

Saule looked down and said quietly, "I pretended I was no longer alive and made you feel like you lost a daughter. That must have made you very sad and hurt your health. Also, I didn't come back for so many years. I wasn't there for you..."

Hearing this, Ezra felt better and not upset anymore. He stood up, using his cane for support, and went over to help her stand up.

"Saule, you're my daughter. How could I ever be mad at you?"

Even though Saule was now over fifty, in Ezra's eyes, she was still his little girl who resembled him the most. She was a Jordan. How could Ezra bear to blame her?

Pearl heaved a sigh of relief.

Ezra waved Pearl over. He looked at her with such love and said, "Oh, Pearl. Thank you for bringing your mom back. If it wasn't for you, I might never have known that I still have a daughter."

He was a father who had a son and two daughters. Losing his son to illness and having his daughters leave were huge blows. But finding out he had a granddaughter and getting one of his daughters back felt like winning a big prize. It even made him feel younger.

"You're welcome. I was happy to do it." Pearl felt overjoyed to see Ezra in good health.

"What are you guys talking about? Tell me!"
