"Why are you always trying to get rid of me? Are you scared I'll do something?" Blake was sitting relaxed, with his legs crossed. "Don't worry, I'm a gentleman. I won't do anything to you without your consent."

Rosalie felt her blood pressure rising. "Isn't it rude for someone you don't know well to just show up at your house?"

"But I'm not just a stranger. I'm your boss."

He had a point. He was related to Pearl, who had hired him as the vice president. So, technically, he was her boss.

"I'm not working right now, though."

Blake looked at his watch, clicked his tongue sound, and said, "It's 7:45 am now. Work starts in 45 minutes. Close enough, don't you think?"

Rosalie gave up. "What do I have to do for you to leave?"

"It's simple." Blake got up and came closer. "How about a kiss?" He leaned in.

That was it for Rosalie. She slapped him hard.

Blake was shocked. He never thought she'd actually slap him. He touched his cheek like he couldn't believe it. "You slapped me." He looked like he was about to cry. "Nobody has ever slapped me before. You're the first."

Rosalie hadn't meant to do it, but seeing his sad face, she felt guilty. "I didn't mean to. But you deserved it."

When Blake heard that, he looked even sadder. "That doesn't mean you should slap me."
