Lorrie was careful. She used an international number to communicate with her boss, making it harder to track her down. But it wasn't impossible.

Blake made dinner early at night and went upstairs to call Rosalie to eat. But he found her fast asleep in bed.

She had been looking after Evelyn a lot these days and was very tired. Blake didn't want to wake her up, so he just tucked her in better. However, his movements woke her anyway.

Rosalie was surprised to see him next to her bed with a caring smile. "When did you come in?"

Blake remembered he had just walked in, so he scratched his head, feeling a bit embarrassed. "I called you for dinner, but you didn't answer. I was worried something might have happened. Turns out you were just really tired. Go back to sleep, I won’t bother you. I can warm the food later if you get hungry."

Rosalie felt touched by his concern. "It’s okay. I'll get up and eat now."

She tried to get out of bed but felt dizzy all of a sudden.

Blake asked, "What’s wrong? Are you feeling ill?"
