Luther noticed Nina acting strangely and looked up to see her walking unsteadily toward the sea. "What are you doing, Nina?"

But Nina kept moving forward.

"Nina!"

She stopped, turned around, and gave him a sad smile. The wind whipped around her, making her thin frame seem even more fragile. "You're the only person I have, Luther. If you don't want me around, what's the point of living?"

Luther felt a rush of mixed emotions but found himself at a loss for words.

"Thank you for everything, Luther. I don't need your kindness anymore." She then ran into the sea, looking completely overwhelmed.

The waves grew larger, splashing violently as Nina moved deeper into the water.
