"You… I…" Holly was splattered with coffee, but she kept her anger to herself. She knew better than to confront Esther publicly; it would only make things worse.

"Esther, I don't think I've done anything to you. Why are you targeting me? We work for the same company, and you're accusing me of things I didn't do. Isn't that unfair?" Holly changed her tone, trying to look sad and gain sympathy from the onlookers.

It seemed to work. The crowd looked puzzled, clearly sympathizing with Holly. Esther could hear the whispers around her.

"Why is she making such a big deal out of this? Is she picking on a lesser-known actress because she's powerful?"

"Holly isn't just some unknown actress. She has over a million fans. If Esther can bully her, none of us are safe."
