Now that Cullen had gone, she couldn't bear it any longer.
Xavier's lips curled. He was not unhappy, but liked her like this very much.
She was so lovely when she was angry.
Arya closed the door, opened the drawer, and took out the documents she had collected. Instead of giving them to Xavier, she put them on the table and said, "Take a look."
It sounded like a query, although it was not.
Xavier glanced at the table and was deep in thought. Who sent this?
"Don't you want to explain?" Arya sat by the bed and looked up at him.
Xavier looked serious. "What do you want me to explain?"
"When I received these, it was obvious that someone wanted me to see them. Don't you want to say something about it?" Arya was questioning him.
Xavier's expression finally changed. "Did she find out something? She doesn't trust me?"
Arya could not tell how she felt.
If she hadn't seen it at Xavier's places, she wouldn't have any doubts. Now she didn't know what happened.
If that woman had nothing to do with him, why would someone send it to her on purpose? It was definitely to let her know that Xavier had something to do with this woman.
And they had a certain relationship.
"If you don't want to say, I won't force you." Arya closed her eyes and got up to leave the room. If she stayed here, she would be suffocated because of Xavier's attitude.
Xavier held her hand. He knew that Arya was angry and said earnestly, "I don't like being suspected, do you understand?"
He hoped that Arya could trust him unconditionally.
