“Exactly! Mr. Lodge, you don’t know how arrogant she was just now! She said she’s abusing her power and wants to report it to the police!” Lila interjected gleefully. 

Seeing how the two troublemakers twisted the story, Ariana let out a quiet scoff. 

“I never thought you’d use your status as my fiancée to gain so many privileges. Ariana, you really know how to make use of your position,” Brian said, his tone dripping with mockery. He clearly had no idea what had actually transpired. 

Selena stepped in angrily. “Mr. Lodge, do you even know what happened? How can you say that about Ariana!” 

Evelyn chimed in, “Ms. Lovegood, Brian and I heard it all. As for what happened, I think everyone here is well aware.” 

“Right! Ariana bullied us first!” Maddie quickly smeared Ariana again. 

Selena wanted to protest, but Brian cut her off with a frosty look directed at Ariana. “Ariana, you shouldn’t be abusing your status as my fiancée. Apologize to them.” 

‘Brian, have you lost your mind? Ariana’s your fiancée! Why are you siding with outsiders instead of her?” Selena was furious to see him acting this way. 

From Brian’s stance, Ariana could tell he was dead set on supporting Evelyn. 

Seeing the tension, Evelyn said softly, “Brian, let it go. It’s really not a big deal.” 

“You can’t be so forgiving, Evelyn!” Lila jumped in. “You can’t forget how she’s bullied you. She humiliated you last night, and you cried for so long. It was Maddie and I who comforted you!” 

Lila quickly took credit for comforting Evelyn in front of Brian. 

“I’ll tear your mouth off!” Selena lunged forward, ready to strike. 

Suddenly, Evelyn stepped in front of Lila, and Selena’s slap landed squarely on Evelyn’s face. 

In an instant, half of Evelyn’s face turned red. 

Seeing this, Brian frowned. “Emily!” 

Emily stepped forward and slapped Selena hard across the face. 

Seeing Selena get hit, Ariana’s face darkened. Without a second thought, she raised her hand and slapped Brian instead of Emily. 

For a moment, the air grew heavy with tension. 

“Brian!” Evelyn’s face turned pale. 

Brian’s expression turned thunderous. No one had ever dared raise a hand to him, and certainly not in public. 

“Selena, let’s go,” Ariana said, taking Selena by the hand and walking away. 

Emily’s face was ashen. “Mr. Lodge. 

“Ariana’s lost it! How dare she slap Brian! She and Selena are just rabid dogs. They’re looking for death!” Lila fanned the flames. 

Brian snapped, “Get lost!”
