Hearing Ariana’s response, William frowned. “What, you can’t do all that?”

Brian had no patience for introductions, but Elise clung to his arm and said, “Mrs. Lodge Senior arranged for Brian and me to meet. When I saw him rush off, I thought something was wrong. Turns out he just came to say hello to Mr. Kingsman.”
