Chapter 262
Chapter 262
Out of everyone, Ariana was the most pathetic.
She had no time to wonder about other people’s futures.
Her plan was to stay far from Brian, stick with Victor, join forces with William, and avoid provoking Brennan. That way, she might avoid a terrible end.
The more she thought, the more sense it made. She felt at ease, staying home to recover.
By evening, when Brian returned home, Fiona was waiting for him in a white dress. She had even prepared slippers and tried to help him take off his coat.
“Mr. Lodge, let me do it.”
Brian gave Fiona only a faint glance. He had no intention of letting her help.
Fiona slowly lowered her hand, which hung there awkwardly.
“Martha,” Brian called out.
No one answered when Brian called.

Before she could finish, Brian lifted his hand and pressed it against her chin.
Fiona didn’t really resemble Evelyn at all. She was simply wearing makeup and a dress similar to Evelyn’s.
Now, Fiona looked at Brian with watery eyes, biting her lower lip. She couldn’t help but feel a surge of anticipation.
She had heard that Brian had already slept with Ariana. A man who had experienced such pleasures couldn’t possibly remain indifferent to her seduction.
Fiona tried everything to please Brian, but he abruptly tore the beige scarf from her neck. His rough action startled her, and her face turned pale.
Brian said coldly, “Evelyn doesn’t like anyone wearing theme clothes as her. If you wear that again, I’ll tip it off again.”
“Mr. Lodge…”
“Get out!” Brian fumed
Flora was 100 scared to move, Seeing his face grow colder, he quickly said; “Mr. Lodge! I’m sorry! I really didn’t mem to make you upset. It’s Mrs. Lodge Senior She told to
