Students from other rooms heard the noise and came out to watch. 

Julia found Fiona’s words absurd. “Who do you think you are? You’re just a country bumpkin. Do you really think you can become Mr. Lodge’s wife? Even if Ariana stepped aside, it wouldn’t be you. How dare you say you’ll stop seeing Mr. Lodge? Let me tell you, he’s into Evelyn. At most, you’re just a helper at the Lodge residence. Don’t think that pleasing Mrs. Lodge Senior means anything.
