Chapter 335
Chapter 335
Derek was taken aback by Christopher’s decision to expel all the students involved in spreading the rumors.
“But those girls are from the student union…”
“I don’t care where they are from. This is the price they’ll pay for messing with the wrong people!” Christopher was in a hurry to assign the blame to someone else, and he couldn’t care less about whether or not they were from the student union.
If he couldn’t answer Brian, he might be fired next.
Derek replied with a troubled look, “But Mr. Gall, news halready gotten out. We can’t cover it up.”
“If you can’t take down all the posts and comments, you’ll be fired! Do it right now!” Christopher brandished his hand, gesturing at Derek to deal with Ariana’s matter.
Derek felt troubled but listened to Christopher anyway. He walked out of the dean’s office, wondering how he could possibly contain the news after it had blown up on campus.
Did Christopher really think that highly of the head of the faculty?
When Derek was about to check the current state of affairs on his phone, he realized that all the related posts and comments had been taken down, much to his surprise.
Why did Christopher send him to deal with those news and rumors when it had been taken care of?
In return, the high–definition footage of the library suddenly spread like wildfire online–the footage in which Julia provoked Ariana.
Not only that, someone had penned an article exposing Julia’s family background and the details of Julia abusing her power as a student union member to bully her peers.
The article came with detailed receipts, including testimonies of the victims and evidence from dated security footage.
Photos of Julia dating several men as a minor and her debatched lifestyle had been leaked as well, causing an
uproar.
Julia, who was in one of the academic buildings at the time, scowled when she saw her dark past revealed. “Who did this? Who’s trying to mess with me?”
She thought she had put her past way behind her. So, who dug it out?
“Julia, calm down-”
Julia cut off Evelyn’s words. “How could I calm down when this has happened to me? This must be Ariana’s doing! If I hadn’t gotten into trouble with her, I wouldn’t have injured my hand.
“Great! I have a hand injury now, but not only was Ariana not expelled, but she leaked the shameful details from my past! I will never forgive that bitch!”
Her eyes burned with resentment. She couldn’t believe that she had encountered this obstacle when she was this close to graduation.
