Selena got up from her seat and addressed Julia, “Hey, we’re in a class now. Why are you going crazy here?”
“You call me crazy? Selena, I knew you were a good friend of Ariana’s, and your family works in the media. You must have helped Ariana gather the dirt on me! How could you?”
Then, Julia attempted to grab Selena by the hair. The professor, who could no longer tolerate the nonsense, slammed her book against the surface of the podium.
Silence hung in the air.
The professor growled, “Who are you? And why are you making a scene in my class? Get out, right now!”
Julia calmed down a little after the professor yelled at her. She glared at Selena indignantly before storming out of
the room.
“She deserved it!” Selena knew that Julia had bullied Ariana Hence, she spared Julia no sympathy when rumors about Julia’s terrible past swirled online.
Younger Julia shouldn’t have lived her life that way if she didn’t want the terrible truth to resurface years later! She deserved what happened to her!
Meanwhile, many had gathered at the classroom door to spectate, and some were gossiping about Julia.
The freshmen and sophomores of Glea College, who had been bullied by the likes of Julia, sneered at Julia’s downfall.
“What are you staring at? Get lost!”
Julia had no regard for her public image anymore. She decided to wait for Ariana and teach that bitch a lesson!
As expected, Ariana walked out of the elevator moments later. Julia didn’t bother to figure out who was with Ariana–she went up and gave Ariana a slap on the face.
The loud slap
p rang across the air, catching Ariana by surprise. Everyone around her inhaled sharply.
Silence expanded in the air.
Julia felt cathartic after taking revenge. She cursed, “You bitch! Did you think you could get me expelled by pulling those tricks? My father sits on the school board, if you don’t already know. You can’t lay a finger on me!”
“Julia, what have you done?”
A deep male voice rang in the air, causing Julia to freeze.
“Dad?”
Apart from Tim Levine, a few other middle–aged men in business suits stood beside Ariana. Each of them exuded an air of authority typical of business elites.
Soon, Julia recognized many of those men as investors of Glea College. Some were in leadership positions at Glea -College, including the dean.
They all wore scowls on their faces.
