An hour later, Arlana arrived at Lodge Co. She wore a white camisole underneath a denim jacket, and she paired it with a pair of denim shorts. 

The employees there couldn’t help staring at her. Their eyes were almost popping out of their sockets. 

Ariana kept her shades on as she approached the front desk She said, “I want to see Mr. Lodge.” 

When the employee saw a gorgeous woman with long legs, she put her guard up and asked, “I’m sorry, miss, but do you have an appointment?” 

Ariana took off her shades when she realized the employee didn’t recognize her. “I’m Ariana Torrey. 

The employee was stunned. “M–Ms. Torrey?” 

“Can I head upstairs now?” 

“Y–Yes! Of course!” The employee hurriedly led Ariana to the elevator. 

“Did you guys see that? That was Ms. Torrey!” 

“Why is she dressed like that?” 

“She’s gorgeous! Why haven’t I ever noticed how pretty she is?” 

“She must be doing this to make Mr. Lodge happy. We all know she imitates Ms. Granger’s outfits to a T. I bet this is something Ms. Granger once wore.” 

Fiona was still in Brian’s office. She brought him snacks and drinks, even offering to help him move some documents around. 

Emily couldn’t help admiring her willingness to do all of this without complaint. Ariana was the last one who’d done this. 

“Mr. Lodge is in his office, Ms. Torrey. I’ll take you in,” Emily said. 

“Okay.” 

Ariana’s gaze landed on the inside of Brian’s office. It had semi–transparent glass doors, which allowed for a clear view of what was going on inside. 

She saw Fiona tidying Brian’s desk, the love in her gaze evident. It was a familiar scene–it reminded her of how she’d been in the past. Her gaze turned cold. 

Brian was running out of patience. He was about to kick Fiona out when he looked up and saw Ariana standing outside. She was dressed differently that day, and it dazzled him. 

He soon returned to his senses and sneered to himself. He curled his lip and reached out to hook Fiona’s chin, He said huskily, “Tie my tie for me.” 

“Mr. Lodge…” She blushed, her eyes filled with shyness. Then, she leaned close to him and tied his tie. 

It was such an amorous scene that Ariana hesitated. Should she head inside? 

At that moment, Brian said, “Wipe my shoes.”
