“Okay.” Ariana only got into the car after watching Selena leave. 

Soon, the Torrey family’s driver arrived. When Ariana saw that it was Clark Anderson, she asked, “Shouldn’t Jim have been the one on duty today?” 

“He’s sick, so I’m taking his shift.” Clark smiled. “Do you want to head home now, Ms. Torrey?” 

“Yeah. Let’s go.” 

“Alright.” 

Ariana leaned against the window as Clark drove. She felt tired. The heat was on in the car, and the space was enclosed. It didn’t take long for things to get stuffy. She said, “Roll the window down, Clark. I’m feeling a little dizzy.” 

He said, “We’re almost there, Ms. Torrey. Hold on for a while longer.” 

Ariana felt nauseous, and her head spun. She wanted to roll the window down herself but found that it had been locked. That was when she noticed Clark had put on a mask without her realizing. 

She realized something was wrong and held up a hand to make him stop. However, she was out of strength. 

Something was up. Had she been sedated? 

“I’m just following orders, Ms. Torrey. I’m sorry…” Clark said. That was the last thing Ariana heard before passing Sout 

Meanwhile, Vance stood in a corridor in Nyte Club. He held up a hand excitedly as he cried, “Really? That’s gr Take her to the hotel, and make sure no one sees you!” 

He’d lusted after Ariana for a long time but had never dared to do anything to her because everyone in the upper crust knew she was supposed to be Brian’s fiancé. 

Things were different now, though. He’d asked Isaac to probe Brian for more information, and Brian had given the green light for him to have Ariana. What else could hold him back? 

“Remember to thank Mrs. Torrey for me when you get back I’ll make sure to thank her properly for this once I’m done!” Vance hung up after that. He rubbed his palms, already ready to enjoy himself that night. 

After a while, William came out of the private room. He was about to pay and leave when he heard some of the scions talking lewdly. 

“Wait, has Vance really kidnapped Ariana? He’s got guts!” 

“What’s there to be scared of? You saw how she pissed Mr. Lodge off, didn’t you? For all we know, he could be more than happy to let Vance get revenge on his behalf!” 

William frowned at that. He approached them and asked coldly, “What did you guys just say?” 

“M–Mr. Kingsman?” The scions became nervous when the saw him. 

Everyone was enjoying themselves at Evelyn’s birthday celebration. Brian was the only one who sat at the table, looking uninterested as he drank.
