Just then, Ariana heard the door creak open. Soon, Vance’s sly face appeared before her. 

He clucked his tongue and said, “Mr. Lodge really doesn’t know how to enjoy worldly pleasures, huh? I can’t believe he would choose someone as boring as Evelyn over someone as hot as you. I wouldn’t have humiliated you in front of so many people like that I’d spend all my time loving you!” 

He rubbed his hands excitedly as he stalked toward Ariana. She suppressed her revulsion and tried to think of a way to get free. 

She probably wasn’t in a proper hotel. However, the lavishness of the facilities provided indicated that this was a place where scions often came to have fun. Places like this generally had high levels of security. It was close to 

impossible for her to get away. 

“Vance, if you dare touch me 

“What’s going to happen?” Vance reached out to stroke Ariana’s cheek. The smoothness of her skin stimulated his senses. “Mr. Lodge has already kicked you to the curb! I sent someone to ask him about this, and he gave me the green light to go after you. He won’t do anything to me, even if I have so much fun that you die in my bed!” 

Ariana was taken aback when she heard him say Brian had agreed to this. She only thought that he disliked her- she wouldn’t have expected him to allow Vance to do something like this to her. 

Her stomach turned at that thought. 

Nobody mentioned anything about Brian,” she said icily. “You know he’s never liked me, but have you stopped to think about whether Mrs. Lodge Senior will let you off the hook for this?” 

Vance hesitated for a brief period at the mention of Belinda. Ariana continued, “She adores me, and I can guarantee the Hubbord family will suffer if you violate me. Think about how Brian doesn’t dare defy his grandmother–do you think he’ll stand up for you?” 

“Stop trying to trick me, Ariana!” Vance snorted. “There’s no way Mrs. Lodge Senior will let you marry Brian once you’ve been sullied. Do you think she’ll still care about you once I’m through with you?” 

“Try me if you dare, then. Your family is the one who will have to bear the consequences, anyway!” Ariana challenged. 

Vance was conflicted when he saw how confident she looked. 

At that moment, someone knocked on the door, and Vance answered it. A server pushed a cart into the room, Vance grew excited when he saw the sex toys on it. 

The server said, “Enjoy yourself, Mr. Hubbord. These are all new releases, and I’m sure you’ll be happy with them! 

“Great! You can leave now. Make sure no one gets close to this room.” Vance threw a few notes at him as a tip. 

The server took the money and left. 

Vance took a leather whip from the cart before walking back to Ariana. He said, “You almost tricked me. The privacy and security in this place are top–notch–who would believe you if you were to tell them I violated you? What would give Mrs. Lodge Senior the right to come after my family if she doesn’t have proof?
