A calm voice came from the crowd. As soon as everyone saw William, they stepped aside to make way for him. 

Everyone in college knew William. He was a tenured professor at Glea College and one of its largest investors. He donated at least eight figures to the college every year. 

As a result of William’s passion for education, the college often invited him to give lectures. He was a prominent figure on campus, and when he was away from the school, He was the CEO of Kingsman Co. 

It wasn’t just the students; even their fathers would address him respectfully if they met him. 

Lila’s expression changed drastically upon seeing William approach. “Mr. King… Mr. Kingsman…” 

William eyed the spilled food on the floor and unhurriedly commented, “It seems that the Lawsons have quite the appetite. You’re trying to mess with the Kingsmans, aren’t you?” 

“No…. Not at all!” Lila waved her hands frantically, and her face was deathly pale. “L… I thought this was Ariana’s… 

William turned to glance at Arlana. Half of her face was still flushed, and there was a clear handprint visible on 

her cheek. 

Then, he turned to look back at the trio and asked, “Who hit her?” 

“…It was me. It was an accident…” Lila’s voice grew softer. She clearly didn’t believe her excuse either.

her back,” William ordered without even lifting his head. He gestured for Ariana to retaliate. 

The crowd watched with bated breath as Ariana didn’t hesitate. She slapped Lila with all her strength and left the latter’s face almost contorted from the force. 

“Lila!” Evelyn paled. Even Maddie was startled by the scene 

William eyed Evelyn and asked, “Didn’t you tell them about my relationship with Ari?” 

Evelyn bit her lip and muttered, “I apologize, Mr. Kingsman My friends were rude.” 

“We’re in school. Remember who I am,” William warned. 

“Got it, Mr. Kingsman.” Evelyn had to swallow her resentment no matter how frustrated she felt. 

“Let’s eat elsewhere.” William led Ariana out of the cafeteria. Along the way, countless students stared at the pair and whispered among themselves. 

Lila was still stunned even after the pair left. Maddie turned to Evelyn and grumbled, “Why didn’t you tell us about Ariana’s connection to Mr. Kingsman?” 

“I…..” 

“Exactly! Now that I’ve offended Ariana, what if Mr. Kingsman comes after me?” Lila panicked and was on the verge of tears.
