Chapter 74
“Are you seriously resorting to this despicable trick, Ariana? I can’t believe the Torrey family’s heiress is such a shameless person!”
“Shut up!” Ariana glowered at Brian. “Despicable trick, my ass!”
While saying that, she switched on the main lights.
However, it was obvious someone had messed with the lights because a redder light shined into Brian’s room just then.
Ariana’s expression withered once she saw that.
Brian’s eyes narrowed dangerously, making it clear that he was misunderstanding the situation even more.
Meanwhile, Ariana could already feel herself losing control because of the scent. She hastily tracked down its. source, which was a small candle, and put it out with water. Then, she ran to open the window.
Gusts of chilly air blew into the room, clearing the space of the sickeningly sweet fragrance once and for all.
Ariana felt slightly better now that she inhaled some fresh air.
Even Brian had snapped out of his crazed state by a little.
Ariana glanced at Brian, who was still on the bed. “Listen up. I have nothing to do with this. Also, I didn’t do all of this to your room!”
Brian frowned.
Ariana ensued, “I’ll untie you now, and you’ll go take a shower first. If you dare touch me again, I’ll…”
She raised two fingers, motioning that she would cut his member off.
Brian recalled how Ariana had kicked him earlier, and his face darkened even more.
Ariana added, “I’ll release you if you’ve heard me loud and clear. If not, you can wait for Emily to untie you tomorrow morning instead.”
“… Untie me.” Brian had more or less regained his sensibilities.
Only then did Ariana approach to untie the ropes around him.
She had just approached when Brian caught a whiff of her faint but sweet bodily scent. He stared at her side profile, noticing her face was a little pink. It was unclear whether that was due to the chemicals earlier, but the faint pinkness from under her skin was alluring.
“There.” Ariana finished untying Brian.
Yet, Brian acted suspiciously in the next second. He suddenly extended a hand to Ariana.
All Ariana felt was the world around her had spun. Subsequently, there was a sharp pain in the corner of her mouth. Brian’s tongue had already pried open her teeth when she finally processed things.
The metallic scent of blood filled her mouth in that instanti
She eventually realized something, shoved Brian off, and struck his cheek. A crisp slap reverberated in the room.
It was so loud that it dazed Brian. He later snapped out of his shock and glared daggers at Ariana. “How dare you hit me?”

A stormy expression filled Ariana’s face as she seethed, “You’re taking this to for, Brid”
She only had unconcealable loathing for him in her eyes.
