“Ari,” Brian’s voice suddenly cut through the air, drawing: Ariana’s attention. 

She looked up to find him staring at her, amusement dancing in his eyes. “Come here, Ari.” 

William stood nearby, his eyebrows raised in surprise when he saw Ariana dressed as a maid. 

It was obvious that Brian had called William over with the tention of humiliating her in front of him. 

“Why don’t you take a seat, Mr. Kingsman?” Brian said with a smirk. 

He then turned to Ariana and ordered, “Ari, pull out the chair for Mr. Kingsman.” 

Ariana remained still. 

Brian’s voice hardened, “What are you waiting for? Don’t keep our guest waiting.” 

Ariana hesitated for a moment before walking over to William and pulling gout a chair. 

“Mr. Kingsman, please take a seat,” she said flatly. 

William nodded and graciously sat down. 

Mr. Dalton’s gaze shifted to Ariana. “You must be Ms. Torrey,” he said with a smile. “I’ve had the pleasure of meeting you before. You’re truly a beauty.” 

Ariana returned a polite smile but remained silent. 

Brian’s gaze never left William as he spoke with a touch of condescension, “No matter what family she comes from, she’s nothing more than a maid in my house. Ari, pour drinks for Mr. Kingsman and Mr. Dalton.” 

Ariana frowned, feeling the sting of Brian’s relentless humiliation. 

It was obvious that his intent was to degrade her in front of everyone. 

“Yes, Mr. Lodge,” she replied calmly. 

She walked over to Mr. Dalton and poured him a drink, then did the same for William 

“Come here,” Brian commanded. 

Ariana had no choice but to obey. 

Brian tapped his wine glass. Understanding the unspoken request, Ariana poured him a drink. 

It was a clear display of dominance. 

How could William not see it? 

Observing this, Mr. Dalton couldn’t help but comment, “Mr Lodge is truly a man of great stature. Even the heiress of the Torrey family is at your service.” 

Mr. Dalton’s expression widened. 

Ariana stayed quiet. 

“Let him laugh. He won’t be laughing for long,” she thought. 

At that moment, Ariana moved closer to Mr. Dalton and said, “Mr. Dalton, you’re the most renowned figure in our industry. I’ve heard so much about your accomplishments growing up.”

As she spoke, she leaned in slightly, placing a piece of fish fillet onto his plate. With a sweet smile, she added, This is a special dish prepared by Mr. Lodge. It symbolizes prosperous future and success. 

“Excellent! Excellent!” Mr. Dalton exclaimed, clearly flattered by Ariana’s attention.
