Chapter 92
With Lila and Maddie flanking her, Evelyn strode into the building, where Brian’s bodyguards were swarming the
entrance.
As soon as Lila spotted Brian, she waved enthusiastically. “Mr. Lodge!‘
Brian frowned and turned, only to find Evelyn standing a short distance away.
It was then that Evelyn noticed Ariana standing beside him
When she saw Brian’s hand holding onto Ariana’s arm, Evelyn’s face went pale.
“Ariana? How come…?”
Lila’s expression darkened, and she exchanged a glance with Maddie.
They had thought Brian was here for Evelyn, but to their surprise, he was with Ariana.
The atmosphere in the building suddenly grew tense.
“Brian… What’s going on?” Evelyn asked, forcing a smile.
Ariana pulled her hand away from Brian and said, “Weren’t you here to see Ms. Granger? Now that she’s here, take my leave.”
With that, Ariana and Selena quietly slipped away.
Brian’s face darkened as he tried to follow them, but Evelyn called out, “Brian!”
He paused.

Lila smirked. “I knew it! Mr. Lodge was definitely here for Evelyn! It’s all Ariana’s fault. She’s always trying to copy Evelyn, and now she’s at it again! I bet she’s just trying to seduce Mr. Lodge! She needs to know her place!”
Brian’s expression turned colder at Lila’s words,
Evelyn stepped closer to him and asked softly, “Brian, is that true?”
All eyes were on them.
Everyone in Gleaston knew that Brian’s heart belonged to Evelyn above all else.
Ariana, on the other hand, had always tried to mimic Evelyn’s style, hoping to win Brian’s affection by looking just like her.
“Evelyn, isn’t it obvious? Mr. Lodge must have mistaken her for someone else!” Maddie interjected.
The two women were eager to paint Ariana as someone who would stop at nothing to seduce Brian.
“Enough,” Brian said coldly, his expression hardening “All of you, get out!”
Terrified by his tone, Lila and Maddie fled before the bodyguards could even reach them.
“Brian… Are you really involved with Ariana…?”
Evelyn bit her lip.
She had seen it with her own eyes–how Brian and Ariana had looked disheveled when they came downstairs that day.
