Reina’s POV 

For the first time in a long time, I had a nightmare. I was in the middle of the forest, running and panting with tears rolling down my eyes 

“Ella, please stay alive, I cried. 

I stopped running once I noticed I was almost in front of the Red Eyes pack’s border, 

Ella was right in front of me. She was laughing and smiling. All of a sudden, a woman in a black hoodie sneakily walked towards her with a knife. 

I tried to move from the spot where I was but I was stuck. I couldn’t move my feet. I fought to run to her but I couldn’t 

“Ella, run!” I yelled but she didn’t hear me. 

“Ella! No!” Itried as the woman stabbed her. 

Ella fell to the ground and the woman disappeared. That was when I was able to move my feet but by the time I got to the spot where Ella was supposed to be, she’d disappeared. 

“Ella.” I crumbled onto the floor as I cried bitterly. I’m reminded of all our memories; both happy and sad moments. 

All of a sudden, I felt something close to me. I lifted up my head and saw it was my wolf. She snuggled into me as though she was comforting me. I held her as I cried more. 

It’s okay, Reina. Don’t hold onto that pain forever. It’s over now, and I’m sure Ella has found peace,” 

My eyes sprang open and I remained still on the bed. I couldn’t move because I could still feel the tears slipping down my eyes. I just had a nightmare that I didn’t know how to react to. 

I couldn’t decide if I was sad that Ella was gone or if I was happy that my wolf finally talked to me and also comforted me. Her comfort brought some peace that I didn’t know I needed. 

It’s been a week and four days since we went to the Red–Eyes pack. Everyone returned to their various Packs that same day while the King continued his fight against these illegal packs who turned children into mercenaries. 

The werewolf world now realized that there were threats greater than Rogue Packs, They thought Rogue Packs were their worst problems but Rogue Packs were saints compared to these horrible Packs 

I heard a footstep in the room. When I lifted my head, it was RowIL 

No! It was Thorne. 

Iar up on the bed. 

“The sleeping beauty is finally awake,” he sang 

“Thorne?” I asked. 

“Why do you always art surprised whenever you see me?” He asked, acting as though he was disappointed! 

“Not surprised, more like shocked I wasn’t expecting you,” I was suprised and scared of what was to come.

“What do you mean?” I asked him. 

“Things are getting boring. There’s no one to get mad at again. Rowan is not giving me the degree of anger I need,

“Nightmare?” He asked.

“Do you want to talk about it?” 

He asked gently while cleaning the tears from my eyes. 

“No! You’re already bored. I shouldn’t bore you more with silly talks,”

“Yeah, you’re silly and crazy too. Thank you for sparing me the details because I might have to hit my head against the wall when you’re done.” 

I glared at him and he glared back at me. 

“What do you mean by you’re bored!” 

“Rowan isn’t giving me any actions,” 

I cocked my eyebrows at him as I curled my lips in disgust. “Do you even know what that meant?” 

“Get your mind out of the gutters, it’s not a home, sweetie,” 

I narrowed my eyes at him. “Go back and give me Rowan if you know you’re bored,” 

“You’d rather tell him your nightmare, wouldn’t you?” 

Irolled my eyes. “Yes, because he wouldn’t get bored,” 

He pointed his fingers at me. “I always knew you liked him more than me,” 

“Hello! Wasn’t that always obvious?” 

He smiled. I froze. 

Thorne smiled. Like the Thorne! The Thorne just smiled at me 

“Why do you look as though I suddenly grew two heads?” 

“You smiled, I told him with a wide grin. 

He shrugged. 

Thorne suddenly leaned into the bed 

“Have you ever wondered why my name is Thorne?” He asked. 

I shook my head. “Why?” 

“If you switch the r and the ‘u you get Throne and if you remove the e, you get Thorn. I hated the royals and I hated seeing in in the asses those who surrounded the throne. Rowan didn’t leave the Rowan suffer like that, I decided to become

He spat 

I moved closer to him and hugged him.. 

“Thank you for protecting him,” 

He hugged me back. We stayed like that in silence for a few minutes.
