Chapter 194
Cynthia put her phone aside and fell back into a deep sleep. She didn’t wake up until after eleven o’clock.
When she went downstairs. Winnie was preparing lunch. Seeing Cynthia, she smiled and said, “Mrs. Sullivan, the meal is ready. You’re just in time for lunch.”
Cynthia looked at the time and asked, “Is lunch early today?”
The regular lunchtime in Regalian Garden was twelve o’clock.
“It was Mr. Sullivan who instructed this, saying that you wouldn’t be coming down for breakfast today and asked for lunch to be served earlier,” Winnie replied.
Cynthia felt warm inside. The CEO of a listed company, who handled countless tasks every day, still managed to pay attention to such trivial
masters.
Cynthia sat down at the dining table, took a photo of herself eating, and sent it to Liam.
At this moment, everyone at Sullivan Group wished they could fly. It was because Liam had reassigned some of the company’s staff just to please his wife. Furthermore, since Liam would be accompanying Cynthia to her parents‘ home tomorrow, it might delay some time. Thus, work for the next two days had to be moved up.
Liam’s work speed was incomparable to that of regular folks. When he worked at full capacity, his subordinates simply couldn’t keep up.
The workload increased, yet the manpower decreased. Everyone complained bitterly, unable to vent their grievances.
In the conference room, all the senior executives seemed exhausted as they reported their work.
Liam was strict with work, demanding not only speed but quality too. Therefore, the senior executives in the meeting room were being scolded that they dared not say anything
“How can you have such limited ability, trying to muddle me with something like this?” he said.
“Mr. Sullivan, these were done by us staying up late and working overtime,” one of the senior executives said defiantly
Liam looked at everyone coldly. “It seems your abilities don’t deserve the treatment Sullivan Group provides you”
Hearing Liam’s words, everyone dared not utter a word.
Although Sullivan Group’s work intensity was high, its salary was unmatched by
other companies.
These people, who were seen as the privileged ones by others, now lowered their heads. No one dared to refute him.
Suddenly, Liam’s phone received a message.
Listening to the exclusive notification sound, Liarn ignored everyone and opened his phone.
On the screen was a picture of Cynthia eating. The angle was top–down, showing a custard tart held to her lips, with her eyes looking exceptionally striking.
Looking at the photo, Liam’s gloomy y mood was immediately eased. He saved the photo on his phone and set it as his screensaver.
The senior executives stared dazedly as Liam fiddled with his phone. All of them dared not to voice their dissatisfaction. Isn’t it against Sullivan Group’s meeting rules to use phones? Why is the CEO breaking the rules instead?”
Ziv stood behind Liam and could see what was on his phone.
When he saw that Liam was fiercely scolding someone, yet managed to find time to set his wife’s photo as his screensaver, then continued scolding as if nothing had happened, he was utterly shocked.
Liam looked disdainfully at the executives and gave them a final deadline, saying, “By the end of today’s workday at the latest, fix this rubbish to my satisfaction, or you’ll disappear along with them.”
He then threw the documents on the table and got up to leave. Ziv quickly followed suit, afraid that if he left a little later, those people would start complaining to him again.
Liam took a couple of steps and looked at Ziv who followed him. Frowning, he said in a deep voice, “Why are you following me? Co help them. If you delay my plans for tomorrow, you’ll be punished as well”
Ziv could only put on a bluer expression and went to each department to run errands.

Fortunately, just before work ended, the proposal finally satisfied Liam. Everyone breathed a sigh of relief.
Liam intended to keep Ziv at the company during the days he planned to go to the border.
First, Ziy was always by his side and was well aware of many company matters. Second, he didn’t want anyone following him to the border. If Delilah wanted to make things difficult for him, having someone else present would damage his image.
When he returned to Regalian Garden in the evening, Cynthia had already packed her luggage.
The flight tickets were scheduled for the next morning. Although Liam had a private jet and initially planned to fly directly, considering the time was tight, there wasn’t enough time to get the flight path approved. Moreover, the border was quite chaotic, so Cynthia didn’t want to attract too much attention.
The next morning, they set out for the airport.
Since there were only two of them on this trip, they packed light, so Liam could carry everything by himself Cynthia wanted to help, but Lim refused.
“Follow me. Don’t get lost,” he reminded.
Liam never worried about such things when going out. This time, he was with Cynthia, making him experience the joy of being a regular married couple, which was new to him.
They boarded the plane through the VIP lane. Just when they were about to switch off their phone signal, a call came in.
Staring at
ig at the word “Vincent” on his screen, Liam frowned inwardly.
Looking at him, Cynthia leaned over curiously, “Why is Vincent calling at this time?” she asked.
Liam answered the phone. Vincent urgently said. “Liam, are you heading to the border? I just found out that Queena also bought a ticket to the border. She might already be on the plane.”
Cynthia vaguely heard a few words and vaguely guessed the meaning. She stood up, glancing around the first–class cabin, but couldn’t find Queena. She sat back down and shook her head slightly at Liam.
Liam said in a deep voice, “Which dight is she on?”

Of all the terrible translations this is by far the worst. Garbled rubbish with different languages in between. I wouldn't recommend this novel!...
