Vincent stared at Mila, whom he had once loved deeply but who had betrayed him. His expression showed a mix of emotions as he tightened and Then loosened his hands by his sides. “She’s okay. How are you feeling? Let me take you to the hospital, Cameron said gently, looking at the pitiful Queena with lift her up but ended up settling for lightly supporting her arm instead. Queena tried to stand but quickly sat back down. “I feel weak,” she uttered in

“Doctor, is her concussion serious? Does she need surgery? Will it mess up her life? Cameron asked. Despite being a university professor, he was completely unfamiliar with medical matters, and now his worry about Queens had clouded his basic judgment.
