With a straight face, Liam couldn’t refute. 

Cynthia would never bring him food again if she knew that he had deliberately lied to her. 

After they finished their lunch, Liam put away the tableware. 

After lunch, she wanted to check out her driver’s license, but Liam gripped her hand tightly and wouldn’t let her

How could he let her go so easily after tricking her to come to the office? 

He dragged her directly to the lounge. 

Cynthia was astounded by the tiny space since it had everything a home should have. 

“You guys really know how to enjoy life,” she remarked. 

Then he pulled her to the bed and got on top of her. The lust on his face was obvious. 

He wanted to give in to his desire after working so hard to suppress it earlier. 

Cynthia struggled, and thought, “Why is he so horny? He keeps thinking about sex all day.’ 

While she was pondering, Liam had taken off her clothes, and she was holding the underwear. 

“I haven’t taken a shower.” Cynthia made up this excuse to reject him, but Liam carried her into the bathroom, causing her face to turn pale with fear. 

After having sex last night, she was still swollen. How could she possibly bear to repeat it? 

Besides, it would be so embarrassing if any employees bumped into it and found out. 

Cynthia struggled so hard that he carried her to the bathroom and pressed her against the wall. With his strong arms, he locked her hands against the wall and lowered his head to kiss her. 

His kiss was intense, passionate, and full of desire. 

Unable to move, Cynthia had to resign to it passively. 

She quickly lost her strength and was unable to resist. 

After leaving marks on her fair body everywhere, Liam dragged her under the showerhead with satisfaction.

Liam put her on the bed and slept beside her.

Liam laughed in a low voice. 

He pulled her into his arms, kissed her hair, and said lovingly, “Get some sleep.” 

Cynthia was so exhausted from having sex all night the night before and from this around that she was sleeping 

soundly. 

Looking at the woman in his arms, Liam was not sleepy at all. 

He had Cynthia all to himself, and he felt content. 

Cynthia’s phone rang during this peaceful moment. 

But Cynthia in his arms was sleeping soundly. 

Liam didn’t want to wake her up, so he went to his office with his phone. 

The incoming call was from her father. 

He hesitated for a moment before clicking the “answer” button. 

As soon as the phone was connected, Mason’s loud and fierce voice came from the other end of the line. “Have your forgotten who raised you?” 

Liam didn’t say anything. 

After a pause, Mason continued, “You don’t even call me father now that you’re married to a rich man? Tomorrow is the memorial day for your deceased mother. See it yourself whether you will come home.” 

Liam frowned to learn this was how her family treated Cynthia. 

Liam did not appreciate the way he treated Cynthia, but he thought it was time for him to meet her family since

After thinking for a while, Liam said indifferently, “Mr. Larson, Cynthia is asleep.” 

As there was no response from the other end of the phone, Mason was about to speak again when he heard the words of a cool, collected, and powerful male voice, 

Mason quickly guessed who it was when thinking of how protective Jasmine and David were of Cynthia in the 

Sullivan residence. 

Mason’s heart skipped a beat when he recalled what he had just said. 

He apologized immediately, “Mr. Sullivan, I didn’t know it was you.” 

“That’s how you treat your daughter.” 

Liam suddenly felt a little sorry for Cynthia. 

His parents passed away when he was a child, but his grandparents loved him deeply. Liam realized that having an unloving father was worse than not having one after witnessing how her father treated her. 

Mason became nervous upon realizing Liam was not happy. 

Mason quickly explained, “Cynthia hasn’t been home for many days. I’m just anxious. Please don’t take it. personally, Mr. Sullivan.” 

“Cynthia is fine. I will go visit you with her tomorrow.” 

“Great,” Mason replied immediately. 

Mason’s purpose in making this call was to ask Cynthia to take Liam home. 

Now that Liam said so, Mason agreed with a smile. 

After hanging up the phone, Felicia and Roseanne asked anxiously, “How is it going?” 

Mason told them about the conversation on the phone. 

The three of them were overjoyed. 

Felicia handed a bank card to Roseanne, saying, “Rosie, you don’t need to do anything this afternoon. Go to the beauty salon for facial skin care and impress Liam tomorrow.” 

Roseanne nodded shyly, took the card, and confidently left.
