The alarm on her phone blared, jolting Camila awake. She fumbled to silence it before shutting her eyes again.
The person next to her was in a deep sleep, completely unaffected by the noise.
Feeling a bit annoyed, Camila opened her eyes, glanced at Connor, and gave him a gentle kick.
Connor grunted, groggily opening his eyes to meet Camila’s irritated gaze. He quickly wrapped his arms around her, pulling her close. “What’s wrong?” he murmured.
Camila shot him a glare. He had kept her up all night with his relentless advances, only stopping a couple of hours ago.
“I planned to take a personal day today!”
Connor chuckled softly, nibbling at her ear, his fingers slipping under the hem of her skirt, his eyes darkening.
“Alright,” he said.
Camila gasped, suddenly realizing his intention. She tried to pinch his waist, but his muscles were too firm, barely yielding under her grip. Her fingers ached from the effort, which, in his eyes, seemed more like playful teasing.
Connor embraced her tightly, and they made love once again.
It wasn’t until David arrived with breakfast that Connor finally let out a satisfied sigh and stopped.
Connor wiped her down, looked into her moist eyes, and kissed her gently.
Camila lay there, exhausted and breathless, lightly drumming her fists against his chest.
Connor smiled down at her, took her hand, and gently massaged it.
He covered her with the blanket and kissed her forehead. “Rest well, I’m off to work.”
Camila had no strength left to talk. The man’s energy was overwhelming, and she soon drifted into a deep sleep.
When Camila next opened her eyes, it was already bright outside. She stretched lazily.
She reached for her phone, frowning slightly when she noticed it was turned off.
