A Promising Youth novel Chapter 26

One of the fat women, hanging gold jewelry on her body, hit Clara in the face.

I hurried to block Clara and pushed the fat woman away.

“What are you doing?

What is going on?

“Son of a bitch, who are you?! Get out of my way, I have to beat this girl to death today!”

She pointed at Clara, showing her teeth and said.

“You secretly took the shares and sold them to Bill, how about our shares?

“Bill's shares are for the company's debt. As shareholders, you should bear this debt, what money do you want?”

Since crushing my family, I've found myself much bolder and brave enough to face many conflicts head on.

And I had said that no one would be allowed to hurt Clara in front of me.

But the fat woman laughed. She coldly glared at Clara and said.

“Ask this bitch, if she borrowed the money in the name of the company or in her personal name. Why should the shareholders share the debt she borrowed herself?”

At that moment, I expected Clara to cry out, but to my surprise, she showed a strength that surprised even me. She stepped out from behind me and said with an expressionless face.

“Auntie, last year the factory was going bankrupt, who agreed I borrowed in the name of the company?

I know you don't want the factory to get well at all. You want to sell the factory and get the money. I got this factory from my mother, no one can sell it!”

“Listen, you guys, you hear that?

She's admitted she borrowed the money herself. We're not obligated to help her cover her debt!”

The fat woman shouted with great shamelessness.

“But the money I borrowed was all spent on the development of the factory, aren't you all beneficiaries?

Shouldn't you share the debts?”

Clara gritted her teeth and looked at them coldly.

“Where's the contract?

Where's the paperwork?

Without that, why should we share the debts?

In short, you can’t move our stake!

I'll sue you for abusing the power of the chairman. You're using your power for personal gain!”

The fat woman was a shrewish woman.

“Auntie, we are relatives. After my mom died, you are the closest people I have in this world, and you gained a lot of money from the company, isn't that enough?”

Clara wrinkled her brow hard and said with red eyes.

“Uncle, would you like to say something?

Behind the fat woman, a thin man coyly stepped forward and said.

“Clara, your aunt is right. Let's not talk about our relationship when it involved with money. Besides, this factory will be soon over, sell it and let's split the money.”

When I heard that, I was so angry. Are relatives really that bad in the face of profit?

Oh, right, my families acted like these people.

For my brother's sake, to buy a house, they'd even wanted to cheat me to a black coal mine.

Taking a deep breath, I looked up and said.

“So what do you guys want?”

The fat woman panted at once and said.

“Sell the factory and split the money! If it is not, I'll rip this little bitch apart!”

“Bill! Get your ass over here!”

Turning my head, I shouted red-eyed at the security guard who, not far away, was sitting on the ground smoking a cigarette.

“Yes. Matteo, what is it?”

Bill asked as he trotted all the way over.

“What should you do when there is a disturbance in the factory? What did I tell you?”

“Matteo, these people are all relatives of Miss Clara's ......”
