Chapter 398
Nigel and Sage rushed to the hospital. Upon arriving at the door, they saw the nurse walking out of the ward with Lulu, who was covered in blood.
She was injured by sharp objects in many places, including her back, calf, and ankle. Her white T-shirt was stained with blood. The glass fragments stuck on her calf looked appalling.
Nigel’s usually warmed face changed greatly. He took a few steps forward and asked, “What’s wrong? What happened to her?” Sage furrowed her brows tightly and said in a low voice, “Hurry up and send her to the emergency room.” The ward was a mess. The side lamp, bowls, and vase shards were all blood-stained. Asher was also injured, but not as badly as Lulu.
The nurse explained to them. It was Lulu who rushed over in time and stopped Asher. She hugged him, but as a result, she was crushed to the floor and was injured all over.
There was a loud quarrel in the morning. A loud crash followed after that. No one knew what was going on.
Sage was angry seeing Lulu’s injuries and the pain on her pale face. She burst into anger and wanted to rush into the ward and beat Asher!
Nigel suggested letting him deal with Lulu’s injury and told Sage to check on Asher.
“I don’t want to go.” Sage said with a cold face, “If you want to, you can go.” Nigel could not afford to offend Sage, so he agreed. “Okay. I’ll go check on Asher’s situation and leave here to you.”
Lulu lay on the hospital bed. Meanwhile, Sage handled her injuries. The injury on her calf was not too bad. The worst injury was on her back. A piece of broken porcelain shard was stuck nearly four centimeters deep.
If it went in a little deeper, it would have injured her organs.
The blood flowed nonstop like a small river. The bandage was dyed red one after another.
