A Relentless Pursuit for Love novel Chapter 430

Chapter 430 “This was what I meant! You just have to text like this in order not to let Sage be suspicious of what’s happening here!” exclaimed Zachary as he thrust his phone into his brother’s face. Jace sat in front of his desk, with a cigarette in between his fingers, his eyes couldn’t help but twitched when he saw that Sage was giving Zachary the bracelet for free. ‘How generous of you,’ thought Jace to himself. Zachary replied Sage with kisses emojis. (Thanks, love you lots!) “Your text was too formal, but if you add some emojis, it would sound more laid-back,” explained Zachary. Jace glanced at the screen and couldn’t help but feel that maybe his brother was illiterate. Yet, he still nodded and said, “Okay.” He made a mental note to add more emojis to his texts and perhaps try not to text like he was initiating a business conversation. “Also, you have to understand that nobody just texts somebody out of the blue. For example, when was the last time I texted you?” asked Zachary. “When you need money, or when you got into trouble, mostly when you require somebody to bail you out of trouble,” answered Jace. Zachary could not help but feel awkward at his brother’s honesty.

“Although you are right, don’t make it sound like I’m always in some kind of trouble. Anyways, my point still applies. Don’t try to add in your little weather forecasts or try to make it sound like you care for her. I only text her when I need a favor. If you don’t want her to be suspicious of this, you have to make sure that you always have something to ask for,” explained Zachary.

Zachary patted his brother on the shoulder and sighed, “Truth to be told, Sage is so much more generous than you. The things I would do to exchange you for her as my sister…”

“Who do you think you are?” asked Jace as he stared menacingly at Zachary. ‘Sage is your sister-in-law, not your sister,’ Jace thought to himself. “I mean…” said Zachary, but before he could finish, he was interrupted by Jace with a kick to his chair.

“Go,” ordered Jace.

“The moment you’re finished with somebody you just throw them aside…” murmured Zachary.

Before he could finish, Jace threw the newest model of iPhone into his lap and he immediately stopped speaking. Zachary gave his brother the brightest smile he could muster and immediately stood up and left.
