Sage spread out the calligraphy paper and asked Robert while she picked a suitable brush. Robert said, “How would I dare to ask him to write? He even refused Aunt Helen’s request to write. I’m not worthy.” Sage was amused by Robert’s aggrieved expression, “It’s okay. I’ll write it for you. What characters do you want? What is it for?” 

“Anything will do. I just finished decorating my new home, and I plan to put it in the study.” Robert thought for a while and said, “I see that many of the calligraphers like to write about things like “joy’ and ‘happiness’. He spoke sheepishly, then said, “I don’t have much idea.” “Those are very plain calligraphy characters, and they don’t suit you.” Sage said, “I’ll write you a different one, which is more in line with your own temperament.” Robert was delighted when he heard it, “Alright!” Sage chose a thicker brush and dipped it in ink.
