Chapter 646 Sage asked Luther to keep an eye on Sienna. 

“I have the feeling that Jekyll won’t let his pawn go so easily. He must be keeping her for something else. He’ll be sent to Tovres in a few days and I can’t let anything happen.” 

Luther responded, “Mm, don’t worry. We’re all keeping an eye on him.” 

Sage responded with an okay and just when she was about to end the call, Luther called out to her, “Sage?” 

“Yeah?” 

Taking out the tray of freshly baked cookies from the oven, she asked, “Anything else?” . 

Luther hesitated before going on. “I think that it’s best if you and Jace go over this matter together. I’m afraid that Peter would catch on easily with both parties aiming at him, and it will be a loss for both sides, don’t you think? Besides, Jace’s father, Lucas is involved in this, isn’t he? Talk to him, will you? Plus, after that incident, you haven’t been in contact with him, have you?” 

Sage gnawed on her lips. She wanted to tell Luther that there was nothing to talk about with Jace. 

Luther then went on, “I’m not saying this because I want the both of you closer to each other. I’m saying this. And you’d also be doing the Yuriel family a favor. They are all really worried about you.” After ending the call with Luther, Sage tightened her grip on the phone. 

She did want to ask how Jace was, especially with his head injury. 

Sage then sent a message to Zachary.

Jace did not say anything further after noticing the bruises on the corners of Sienna’s lips. 

Sienna chose to go down that path on her own. There was nothing for Jace to comment on. 

Glancing at Jace’s expression, Zayne carefully mentioned, “I only found out that Peter has this weird obsession after running an investigation on him. It seems like Peter’s wife is not comfortable with his weird preference hence she turned a blind eye to him and they decided to go for an open marriage. There was one time when Peter had a relationship with a college student but she was injured…” 

Jace furrowed his brows tightly. He did not wish to listen further. “It takes two hands to clap. We are in no position to judge.” Seeing how Jace had no intentions of meddling in their business, Zayne was slightly relieved. Zayne always thought that both Sienna and her aunt, Luna, were a despicable and vile pair. 

Zayne secretly thought that those women could only spend the rest of their lives doing, such lowly and vile things. 

“Sir, there’s something else that I’d like to report.” 

He then added, “The PI mentioned that he noticed someone else looked into Peter as well. And the other PI was one of the top Pls in their field.” 

Jace frowned. “Who’s he working for?” 

“If I’m not mistaken, he is working for Mister Luther” 

“Luther Bennett?”. 

Jace’s expression relaxed. He guessed that Sage might be involved.
