Chapter 729 Sage lowered her head again, she was out of words to say. Tim said calmly, “Kiddo, you‘re a grown–up now. You need to experience your own life. Just do whatever that you want to. There‘s no right or wrong.” He added, “We only live once. Enjoy it.” Sage nodded and smiled. 

The next day was Easter Day, a joyful day to spend together with families. Over the past three years, Sage celebrated Easter Day together with the Yuriel family. Her brother had their own house, so all of them celebrated it on their own. At least, they would video call each other now. This year, Sage was unsure if her brothers were all mad at her. They did not video call her at all. She was a little sad when she looked at the group chat with her brothers, waiting. She sighed, finished her work, and got into the car exhausted. She then began to wish everyone a happy Easter Day in all of the other group chats and with her friends. Her phone notification tone had been ringing since earlier morning. Many people had sent their wishes over. 

[Happy Easter Day, Miss Sage!] (I wish you a happy Easter Day...] She scrolled down the list and suddenly her finger stopped when she saw the conversation with Jace. She clicked into it and their conversation remained on the day he passed away. 

Her heart sank and she felt a tickling pain from the numbness. She locked her phone and dimmed the screen. Then, she leaned back and closed her eyes. ‘Are people more afraid to be alone when they get older? Am I really getting old since I‘m starting to be afraid of being alone?‘ As her mind wandered off, she subconsciously fell asleep. When the car arrived at Rosa Garden, the driver woke her up. She opened her eyes, twisted her stiff neck, and entered the house. Once she opened the door, a huge gorilla came running at her, “Ah!” Instinctively, she punched at the gorilla‘s eyes. Then, the gorilla yelled out in pain, “Hey! Are you trying to kill your own brother?” The gorilla took out its head. Then, Luther covered one of his eyes and stared at Sage with the un–touched one, “Good thing I bought a sturdy mask. Or else my eyes would‘ve been gone right now.” 

“You‘re the one that put on the gorilla costume to scare me.” Sage was shocked and was no longer sleepy. It was all thanks to Luther, and her soul nearly broke free from her body. 

Luther was sweating all over his head because of the gorilla‘s costume, “You‘re finally back. They might blow up your kitchen if you didn‘t come back for another five minutes.” 

Sage was dumbfounded. When she followed Luther into the kitchen, she saw her kitchen nearly covered with flour. Her brothers and sisters–in–law were all in the kitchen surrounding the kitchen top. Their hands and face were smudged with flour and there were many lumps of odd looking things on the kitchen top. Were they pies? “Sage, you‘re back!” “Hey, you’re finally back! We nearly died of misery because of the pie!” “Hurry up! The chef is back, everyone makes way for Sage! Let the chef show us how it‘s done! 

Without the chance to change her clothes, they forcefully put the apron on for Sage and pushed her to wash her hands at the sink. They then shoved her to the kitchen top to make pies. She even had to teach them how to make pie even if they arranged everything for her... 

When she finally sent the pie into the oven, she suddenly realized something was wrong,” Shouldn‘t we be eating hot cross buns for Easter Day? Why are we making pies?” “We didn‘t know how to make hot cross buns and pies are easier to make. So we decided to eat pies instead,” Nigel said. 

Sage laughed at them, “Look at your pies, and you still dare to say it is simple?” “What did you say?” Kane asked, “We wanted to eat pies, got a problem with that?” Sage was out of words, “No.”
