Chapter 761 Chitose majored in creative writing, and he was a night owl. He was usually the most active at night. Chitose was in the middle of sleeping when someone kept ringing his doorbell. His irritation
“For God‘s sake, who is it?”
With a head of bed hair, an irked Chitose answered the door to see two stunning ladies, Sage and Suki, standing right in front of him. Almost immediately, all his rage disappeared into thin air. He thought to himself that it was a blessing to be able to be woken up by such gorgeous ladies. The few of them gathered together to go over the script and made a rough plan to start filming Lincoln looked at Sage and asked, “How much time can you give us?”
Sage hesitated and replied, “More than two months.” “It might work.”
With a cigarette in his mouth, Lincoln added, “We can shoot the fighting scenes right away as well. I don‘t think we need to send you for training with those skills of yours. We can start right away.” Startled, Chitose glanced at Sage and asked, “Is she not going to have a double? Aren‘t you guys worried at all?” Lincoln laughed softly and said, “I don‘t think our stuntmen would be as good as her.” Chitose pursed his lips, then looked at Sage and said, “Director Lincoln here is notorious for torturing his actors. You should be careful of him.” “It‘s alright. I‘ll be fine.”
Sage shrugged her shoulders nonchalantly. “I‘ve been cooped up in my office for so long. It‘s time for me to work my muscles.”
Back when she was younger, she used to visit movie settings with her mother. She was fascinated by actors wearing movie harnesses, performing wire–flying stunts, and using weapons. She, too, had a dream of starring in an action movie, but her dream was immediately crushed by her mother. Primrose said to her once, “It‘s already hard for you to get a boyfriend with that nasty temper of yours. If you do debut as an action star, I guess you‘ll have to spend the rest of your life alone.”
Lincoln suddenly let out a sigh. He must have remembered Primrose‘s words.
“I‘m worried that your mom would jump out of her coffin if she knew that I recruited you to star in my movie.”
“Hmm... it might happen.” Sage tapped Lincoln‘s shoulders and said creepily, “Uncle Lincoln, you should be careful when you sleep at night.” “...You brat, don‘t scare me.” “Shoot a film? This Lincoln must be out of his mind!”
Primrose exploded in rage when she first heard of the news. She fumed while showing her phone to Sawyer, “I knew it! That documentary was the beginning!” Sawyer took a look at the screen of her phone.
Jace, too, wanted to have a look. He then asked, “Is Sage starring in a movie?”
No one replied.
‘It was as if he was invisible.
Knitting her brows into a frown, Primrose complained, “Our daughter is going all out, isn‘t she? She‘s actually thinking of stepping into the entertainment industry. As her father, are you really not going to do anything about it?”
“Do you really think we have a say?”
Sawyer added flatly, “If you didn‘t stop her back then, Sage would have started her acting career when she was six. She‘s twenty–six now, honey. It‘s time we let her do what she wants.”
