Chapter 832 After a night of drinking, the fathers and Sage‘s brothers failed to wake up in the morning. Unlike them, Sage woke up early in the morning. Once she freshened up, the first thing she did was to visit Tim and Kane and to check on their conditions. 

Kane failed to fall asleep for the whole night because of the pain. His dark circles were similar to a panda. Tim looked very pale. When Sage was there, she lent a helping hand to Ross to change their bandages and apply for new medicine. Then, Ross helped Tim to get up from the bed to go to the bathroom. 

“Kane, do you need to pee?” Sage started her shift as a sub in nurse and asked Kane seriously,” Do you need me to bring you a bedpan?” Kane felt so embarrassed that his dignity was at a loss, “Is my condition that bad that I need to use a bedpan?” 

“How do you think you are going to pee when you can‘t get out of bed?” Sage said easily, “of course, if you are feeling shy, you can just pee on the bed. But I think that would be more embarrassing.” 

Thinking of that, Kane took the tissue box beside his head and threw it at Sage. He said angrily, “Scram!” 

Sage caught the tissue box and put it back on the bedside table. She pouted, “I was just trying to take care of you. Hold it in then.” 

“I didn‘t ask for you to take care of me.” With a blushed face, Kane felt sad and said, “I want my wife to take care of me.” 

‘Oh, I see. Someone is missing his wife...‘ 

Maybe telepathy did exist. Just when Kane finished his sentence, Zamora knocked on the door and came in, “Master Kane, Miss Laura is here.” 

When the door was opened, Laura strode into the room with her green color combat suit and her face was covered with green paint. She had just finished her mission and requested the helicopter from her unit to drop her off at Salem City. Thus, here she was, rushing over before even returning to the unit to report. There was no time for her to change her combat suit or to freshen up since she was in a hurry. She looked a little dirty with mud on her suit and grass on her hair. 

“Laura...” Kane was shocked the moment he saw Laura. Unconsciously, he tried to get up and accidentally worsened his injury. It was so painful that he nearly fainted. “Don‘t move!” Laura stopped him and passed her helmet to Sage so she could free up her hand to help Kane lie down slowly. Then she opened the blanket to check on Kane‘s condition. Fresh blood was gushing out from his badly wounded injuries. Instantly, her eyes turned to one with worry and concern, ‘He is so badly wounded!‘ 

Kane was shocked and happy to see Laura, “Why are you here?” Laura lifted her head with her red eyes, “Sage told me you‘re back and sent me a photo. So I rushed here immediately.” 

Kane looked at Sage with misery, “Didn‘t I tell you not to tell her?” 

“If I didn‘t, then you wouldn‘t be seeing her now.” Sage sighed and said to Laura, “He‘s been desperately missing you. And he even wants you to come to take care of him and help him pee. 

‘What a blabber mouth! Why did you tell her everthing?! I need my dignity!‘ 

Kane had a hard time maintaining his manly image. He looked at Laura but did not dare to be angry, “D–don‘t listen to her...”
