A Relentless Pursuit for Love novel Chapter 849

Chapter 849

The small episode seemingly did not affect their mood to eat.

Well, at least, not for Yoel.

After rounds of begging and pleading, Sage finally agreed to cook several dishes for them. And every bite of the food that Yoel took, lie exclaimes and praised Sage’s cooking.

He took some pasta onto his plate and started slurping away. “Man, every time I eat your dishes, I have the urge to make you my wife.”

Jace replied flatly, “Sad to bring it to you but it’ll never happen.”

He then put some pasta onto Sage’s plate before Yoel cleared up the entire dish.

“You can’t be too sure now, can you! As long as you guys are not official yet, I’ll still have a winning chance.”

Yoel was full of confidence. He looked at Sage and arched his brow, “They say men in their thirties are like a precious flower, what do you think of me?”

Sage then added, “I think you’re more like a dog tail grass than a flower.”

Yoel’s face crumbled instantly.

However, Jace burst into laughter as he put down the plate in his hand and showed Sage a thumbs-up.

Looking at Jace and Sage who sat next to each other, Yoel scoffed, “Fine, guess you guys are a team now. Showing off your affection to each other in front of me when you know that I’m all alone and lonely. I’d advise you to tune it down because when I get myself a girlfriend, I’ll make sure to pay back the feelings of disgust that I’ve felt.”

Yoel talked big

“Dating is like your favorite pastime, isn’t it? Since when do you take relationships seriously? Stop talking big.”

Jace went on mercilessly, “You always go on and on about how you’re the king when it comes to dating and that you’re the dream man that every lady wants to be with. But tell me, do you even have been in any relationship for more than a month?”

Sage who sat at a side could not even be bothered anymore.

Just like that, the dinner was over.

The three of them had some red wine together.

After about three rounds of wine, the hall manager knocked on their door and walked in.” Miss Sage, a few young ladies are claiming to be your fan and would like to ask for your

autograph.”

Fans?

Sage was stunned. Since when did she have fans?

“Sure, let them in.” Almost immediately, the room was filled with a group of young ladies with books and posters in their hands. Some even held placards and printed photos of Sage. Looking shy and excited, one of the fans asked, “Hi Suzy, we’re your fans, do you mind giving us an autograph?” Sage, who played the role of Suzy in the movie, agreed generously and started signing her name.
