Sage was used to signing contract documents and she never experienced signing an autograph. Some of her fans even requested for her to draw hearts and write some wishes and Sage made sure that she fulfilled all of their requests. 

with a few strokes, Sage drew a few roses and they looked amazing. 

Her fans were all excited. 

“Goodness, you have really pretty hands!” “You look so much prettier than when you’re on screen, you’re stunning!” 

“Not only do we like your character in the movie, but we also think that you’re really pretty! Will you be starring in more movies? I’ve rewatched The Double Life of Veronique three times now. I like you a lot!” 

The female fans showered Sage with praises and compliments and they only had eyes for Sage. Neither of them noticed the two good-looking men that were in the same room as them. 

Yoel and Jace were pushed to a corner of the room and they were even asked to help take pictures for them. 

The two grown men were speechless. “Hey handsome, would you mind taking a few pictures of us?” One of the girls handed her phone to Yoel. 

Yoel pointed at himself and asked, “You’re asking me to help you take pictures?” The girl was surprised by Yoel’s response. She looked at him and nodded. “You might be mistaken but I’ve always been the shiniest and brightest star in the room since I was a child, okay?” Looking as if he was wronged, Yoel went on, “Girls usually want to take pictures with me, since when do I need to help others to take pictures? What has the world turned into? I am not doing it!” 

“It’s time for you to admit that you’re getting older now.” Jace patted his shoulders, took over the handphone, and said, “Here, I’ll take them for you.” Yoel was hurt by how Jace said that he grew old and he took some time to recover from the injury. Jace was almost the same age as him, how dare he mock him for getting old? 

Seeing how Sage and the fans had a great time taking pictures together, Yoel too wanted to join in. He realized that he never had a picture with Sage as well. Yoel walked toward the group, crouched down, and posed with a yay hand sign. 

Sage kicked him. “What are you doing?” 

“I’m also one of your fans. Can’t I take a picture with you?” Yoel replied confidently. 

Sage felt rather pleased to be receiving so much love from her fans. 

She finally understood why so many people wanted to be a star. They wanted to be loved and want to be acknowledged for their efforts. Sage realized that these feelings would somehow be able to motivate someone.
