Lucas was very shocked to hear Roy call Freya his lover, 

When he was in Mostal the last time, he sensed that Roy and Freya shared a special relationship. Were they together already?! He did not know anything about it! “Are you two… dating?” Lucas asked in difficulty, his voice cracking. 

It was embarrassing to say the word dating at this age. However, others had done more shameful things. What was embarrassing about them being openly in love? 

As Freya thought of this, she answered before Roy could speak. 

“Yeah, we’re dating.” 

Her short reply stunned Lucas completely. It was also because of the light in her eyes. It had been years since Lucas saw the light in her eyes. When Freya said this, she felt an unprecedented sense of relief. It was as if the darkness weighing on her heart for years was finally gone. Her life seemed to have stopped after her leg injury. Life was hopeless and uninteresting. She felt like a walking corpse but chose to live for her elderly parents and son. 

However, her leg had healed. She was able to stand up again. She met Roy, a man with a pure and childlike heart who also spoiled her a lot. Brilliant colors suddenly filled her colorless world again. Now, she was living for herself. 

Jace and Sage were both startled when they heard Freya’s confession. Then, a smile spread across their lips. 

Jace and the rest came out from hiding behind the wall. Sage clapped her hands and congratulated the couple. “That’s awesome. Master Duncan and Aunt Freya, congratulations! Master Duncan, remember to treat me to a meal.” 

Roy giggled. “I will! Surely!” Then, he added, “But all my money is in Freya’s hand now, so… I’ll treat you, but Freya will 

pay.” 

He gave Freya a toothy smile. Freya could not help laughing. “Okay!” Jace went over to Freya with a worried look. “Mom, are you okay?” 

Freya said indifferently, “I’m fine. The b*tch’s tricks are all the same. I’ve seen them over and over again. We’re in Nadeem City. She can’t crush me here.” Then, she turned to Lucas and said, “It’s not easy for you to have a child at this age. I advise you to watch your woman. She’ll do anything to marry you. She can come to make a scene here today, and she’ll be more than daring enough to go mad in the street the next day. I won’t care about her because she’s pregnant now. However, I’ll take action if she repeatedly provokes me again.” 

Lucas did not seem to hear her threats. He just kept his eyes locked on Roy and her. 

Lucas could not tell Roy’s age by his look. Roy was not quite tall either and did not look very
