Lucas looked at Roy with a stern face and sharp eyes. “You’re just a doctor. You don’t even make the same amount as Freya in a year. Do you own a car or property in Nadeem City? How much money do you have in your savings? Do you have enough to provide her with a good life? I’ve seen a lot of men who would leech on to women, but aren’t you embarrassed to do this at such an age?” 

Sage frowned hard at Lucas’s words. She wondered how he had the nerve to say such words. To her, Lucas was the worse leech. 

“I don’t mind. Why would I be embarrassed?” 

Roy was not mad at Lucas at all. “I’m just a doctor, and I’m no longer young. I don’t have a car, and I can’t even drive. I don’t have any property, but I have a small bamboo house on the mountain. If Freya doesn’t want to come to Mostal with me, I’ll move in with her. It’s fine as long as I can stay with her. As for money, I have enough to spend. I don’t spend much except for snacks, and I have bad teeth, so I can’t eat anything too hard. I can only eat soft food. I’ll leech on to Freya for the rest of my life.” Roy took Freya’s arm and looked at her with clear eyes. “Do you dislike me?” Freya could not stop laughing. “You gave me your entire fortune worth hundreds of millions. I can afford to take care of you for the rest of your life.” 

“That’s great.” Roy looked pleased. 

Lucas looked at the two smiling at each other. He felt he had drifted far away from Freya’s world for the first time. In the end, he was the clown. 

Freya did not bother with Lucas anymore. She returned to the house holding hands with Roy after telling him to get lost. 

Lucas needed to talk to Jace. 

Sage gave Lucas a cold glance and refused to say a word to him. She followed Freya and Roy into the house too. 

Jace escorted Lucas out. When Lucas arrived at the entrance, he swayed a little and almost fell. He held on to the door frame to steady himself. 

“Do you need the ambulance?” Jace asked indifferently. He did not step forward to help. 

Lucas waved his hand. At the same time, the phone in his pocket kept vibrating. He wanted to ignore it. When he took it out and had a look, he saw that it was Luna who was calling. He simply rejected the call. 

Jace saw his action. “You’d better answer it. After all, she’s pregnant with your son in her belly. She’s very precious now.” 

The phone rang again, so Lucas turned off the phone. Lucas looked up and glanced at Jace. He raised his hand and tried to touch his face, but Jace dodged him. Jace frowned. “We don’t have to act like some loving father and son. It’s too hypocritical. Just be straightforward and say what you want to say.” 

Lucas looked at him sincerely. “I’m happy and relieved that you’re still alive.”
